California is on fire... they shut down the college I work at yesterday because it was so smoky and ash was falling from the sky.
On a lighter note, I got a haircut. A bit shorter than I am used to, but I like it.

I'm posting fire updates on my blog, the biggest threat to us at this point is power outages. I think there's a pretty good past that a lot of sd county will be without power, especially if the Camp Pendleton fire gets the northern transmission lines...
